All students are to report to the band room by 8:30 am on Saturday
in preparation for their participation in the parade.

Monday, June4th
6:00 to 9:00 pm
$10 for each band member and $20 for each additional guest
Menu Includes: Southern Fried Chicken, Roast Beef au jus, Seafood Newberg, and assorted cold cuts
Green Beans Almondine, Roasted Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes
Desserts include assorted pastry trays
Salads, bread and assorted beverages included

Meeting Minutes from 3/26/12
Deptford Day
Saturday, May 19th
All students are to report to the band room by 8:30 am on Saturday
in preparation for their participation in the parade.
We are still in need of volunteers for our Deptford Day Fundraising Booth. The booth will run from noon until 7:00 pm. We are in need of evening and afternoon volunteers. We will take one to two hour blocks of time. We are also selling Jubilee coupon books, having a coin drop, and Chick Filet coupons for a small chicken nugget tray that will give the band $10 in return for each tray purchased. They are great for graduation parties, communion parties, birthday parties, etc.

DID YOU KNOW:
Deptford High School "Fight Song" was borrowed from
San Jose State University?
It is said that the Head of the DTHS Guidance Department in 1959, Mr. Roy Wager suggested that our mascot be the Spartans. Mr. Wager also suggested that the fight song be "The Spartan Fight Song" from his alma mater San Jose State University.
